The Wahnam Taijiquan syllabus covers 12 levels. The first six levels are taught over weekly or weekend courses by Sifu Joan Browne in Ireland. Weekend and weekly are the same syllabus.
1) Weekend courses are held once a month in The Shaolin Wahnam Chinese Arts Centre in Kilgarvan, Co Kerry.(see below) Current students are from Dublin, Galway, Cork and Kerry.
2) Weekly courses will begin in The Shaolin Wahnam Chinese Arts Centre in Kilgarvan from 7.30pm on Friday September 9th 2011and are most suitable for those living in Kerry and Cork areas but everybody is welcome.The syllabus is exactly the same as weekend courses.
3) A very special course to prepare students for Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit's Intensive Wahnam Taijiquan course in Malaysia in 2012 will be conducted by Sifu Joan over Easter week and again in October Bank holiday weekend 2011. (details below)
1) Weekend Courses: 2011
Level 1 weekend for Beginners wil commence on September 10th & 11th 2011 Each level consists of 3 weekends over 3 months. Weekend are: September 10th & 11th 2011 October 8th & 9th 2011 November 12th & 13th 2011 Fee: €300.00 (€100.00 per weekend) Times; 9.30am -4.30pm lunch included.
Level 2 will follow on beginning the second weekend in December.
Next Level 2 December 10th & 11th 2011 January second weekend February second weekend. Times: 9.30am- 4.30pm with extra training for those who completed Grandmaster Wong's course against other Martial Arts.
Current Level 3's (for those who have successfully completed Level 2): May 28th & 29th 2011 June 11th &12th 2011 July 16th & 17th 2011 Times: 9.30am -4.30pm with extra training for those who completed Grandmaster Wong's course against other Martial Arts.
Level 4 (for those who successfully complete Level 3) August 20th & 21st 2011 Septembe r17th & 18th 2011 October 15th & 16th 2011
Level 5 (for those who successfully complete Level 4) November 19th & 20th 2011 December 17th & 18th 2011 January - third weekend
Level 6 (for those who successfully complete Level 5)

3)Special Wahnam Taijiquan Intensive Prep Week- Kenmare, Co Kerry
October 28th -3rd November 2011
This course is for beginners and Intermediate students who wish to take part in the wonderful Intensive Wahnam Taijiquan course kindly conducted by Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit in Malaysia in 2012 (provisionally).
Students will learn the 'spread' that is Level 1-6 and 'depth' by deeping their skills by practising after the course either on their own or meeting up with other students or taking a more regular class with a Wahnam Taijiquan instructor worldwide.
The greatest depth of skills will be learned at the Wahnam Taijiquan Intensive in Malaysia, hence a preparation course to help students know the basics beforehand in plenty time to ensure ample time for practice. Another Special Wahnam Taijiquan Intensive Prep Week will be held in October 2011. Same format as April.
Times: 9am -12 & 2pm -5pm each day Venue- Kenmare, Co Kerry (exact venue TBA) Course Fee- €750.00 (not including accommodation or meals) €650.00 if booked before October 1st 2011 Course Package: Includes 6 day course.
